Senior Project Worker – ZAP
Salary: £28,000 – £31,500 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (with flexible working arrangements available, including compressed hours or a 30-hour working week).
Providing high-quality, specialist housing and homelessness support to young people aged 16–25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or need support to sustain their accommodation.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Project Worker with a strong background in housing, homelessness or supported accommodation. You will have experience of working directly with young people facing housing instability and multiple disadvantage, alongside the ability to provide guidance and support to colleagues, volunteers and placement students.
You will be confident in contributing to safeguarding and case discussions, making sound professional judgements and working effectively with partner agencies across Plymouth. You will also contribute to service improvement and help promote high-quality, strengths-based, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient and solution-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, while supporting young people to feel safe, valued and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
