Housing and Homelessness

Need support with housing?

  • Are you sleeping on the streets or staying on a friend’s sofa?

  • Worried about losing your tenancy or unsure how to find your own place?

  • Not sure where to turn or what to do next?

Our ZAP team in Plymouth City Centre are here to help. We offer both one-off advice and ongoing support throughout the week.

ZAP Drop-In Service
🕙 Monday – Friday* | 10am – 3pm - *excluding Tuesdays
For young people aged 16–24

We can provide information, advice, and practical support around housing and homelessness. Our team can talk through your situation and help you explore your options, including:

  • Staying with family or friends

  • Supported accommodation

  • Private rented housing

You can contact us to arrange a time to speak with someone about your situation. If you’re at risk of homelessness or need support settling into or maintaining a tenancy, we can also offer ongoing one-to-one support.

Together with a support worker, you’ll be able to look at your housing needs and create a support plan to help you move forward.

Whatever your situation, we encourage you to contact The Zone as early as possible using the form below so we can explore your housing options and support you.

We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. When you provide your details to us, we securely store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant UK data protection laws. By submitting your information, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described. For more information on how we handle your data and your rights under GDPR, please review our Privacy Policy.

Without the support from the services at The Zone who stepped in to support me in such a consistent way, I wouldn’t be where I am now...I’m saving for a mortgage but am currently financially and physically stable in a flat with a garden and my dog.

The Plymouth Alliance

The Zone are part of ‘The Plymouth Alliance’, a partnership of local charities and Plymouth City Council, which  provides support for people who have needs in relation to homelessness and may also have support needs around substance misuse, mental health, offending and risk of exploitation.

The aim of the alliance is to enable people to be supported flexibly, receiving the right care, at the right time in the right place. To help us to do this we share information within the Plymouth Alliance. You can find out more by taking a look at our information sharing leaflet. If you have any questions or concerns please speak with your worker who will be happy to help.
