Work With Us
Freelance HR & Organisational Development Consultant
The Zone is entering an important period of organisational growth and development. As we develop our services and invest in our workforce, we want to ensure our organisational structure, people management arrangements and HR support remain fit for purpose and support our future direction.
We are looking for an experienced Freelance HR & Organisational Development Consultant to work alongside our team to review our current arrangements, identify opportunities for improvement and help us plan for the future.
The consultancy will focus on:
Organisational Structure: Reviewing our management structure, roles, responsibilities, reporting lines and decision-making to ensure they remain fit for purpose as we grow.
Pay & Terms: Benchmarking salaries, reviewing pay structures and progression, and considering key benefits and terms and conditions.
Staff Engagement & Wellbeing: Gathering staff feedback and identifying opportunities to strengthen staff wellbeing, management, communication and organisational culture.
Future HR Support: Reviewing our current HR arrangements and recommending sustainable options for future provision, taking account of cost, organisational needs and staff experience.
Action Planning: Developing practical recommendations and a prioritised action plan to support implementation, organisational development and future budget and resource planning.
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with practical HR expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and managers. Experience in charity, voluntary sector or other social purpose organisations would be advantageous.
This is a focused, capacity-building consultancy. We want someone who will work with us rather than simply produce a report, sharing their expertise and helping us develop sustainable approaches that we can continue to use beyond the contract.
