Domestic Abuse Support

Domestic abuse is when a family member or someone in a relationship with you engages in behavior that causes physical, emotional, or sexual harm. This may include:

  1. Physical Violence: Such as hitting, kicking, pushing, or choking.

  2. Emotional Abuse and Controlling Behavior: Such as isolating you from family and friends, displaying jealousy or possessiveness, making threats, belittling or bullying, and engaging in blackmail.

  3. Sexual Violence: Involving acts like forcing unwanted actions, pressuring for sex, or exposing you to explicit content.

  4. Financial Abuse: Such as preventing you from working or taking control of your finances.

Domestic abuse is not confined to any specific community or background; it can affect anyone of any age.
