Project Support Worker – Safeguarding and Risk Management

Hours: 25 hours per week

Salary: £26,500 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Project Support Worker – Safeguarding and Risk Management to join our team.

In this key role, you will help ensure that The Zone’s safeguarding and risk management processes are robust, effective, and aligned with best practice — supporting the safety and well being of the young people we work with.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee and maintain risk management and safeguarding processes across Zone projects.

• Conduct regular audits of safeguarding and risk records, ensuring compliance and high-quality standards.

• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on safeguarding and risk-related issues.

• Work collaboratively with the Front of House and Senior Management Team to review and develop policies, procedures, and training.

You’ll be someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a calm, proactive approach. You’ll have experience in safeguarding and risk management, ideally within a youth or community setting.
