Project Support Worker - Substance Misuse

Hours: 30 hours per week – Term Time Only

Salary: £25,000 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary: £20,270)

Contract: Fixed Term 12 months - with possibility of extension.

We are looking to appoint a Project Support Worker to be based alongside our Front of House Team with responsibility for addressing substance misuse in young people.

The post holders will work as part of a team to deliver one to one case work with young people who could be at identified risk of, substance and/or alcohol use. They will also have responsibility for providing training/workshops with young people and teaching staff within secondary and primary schools – for this reason the role is term time only and the salary annualised over 12 months.

You will be reflective and young person focused in your practice, with the ability to work at depth with vulnerable young people and where necessary their peers and families, and to deliver training in schools.
